Zoning Regulations (1999)

The applicable 1999 Zoning Regulations for the City of Horton, Kansas. Please bookmark and return in mid-2008 for an update to the Zoning Regulations.

 

The City of Horton, Kansas, is zoned.  The Horton Planning Commission (HPC) is responsible for developing and making recommendations Zoning Logoto the Board of the Horton City Commission regarding changes in zoning regulations or amendments from current regulations. 

The Zoning Regulations do create the Horton Board of Zoning Appeals (BZA), which is responsible, where authorized by the Zoning Regulations, to grant special use permits and to hear appeals from administrative decisions made by Horton City Administration and Codes Enforcement.  The 1999 Zoning Regulations may either be downloaded in whole or may be downloaded according to subject-matter by the table of contents herein.  If you have any questions regarding zoning in the City of Horton, please do not hesitate to contact the Office of the Horton City Clerk at (785) 486-2681 or e-mailing the City of Horton.
